In 1993 I taught myself to weave from a book by Noël Bennett and Tiana Bighorse, Working with the Wool: How to Weave a Navajo Rug. I built and wove on a simple frame loom. That first piece I made still decorates the back of the chair I sit in when I'm at my computer.
Years later I would start using a more complex European-style floor loom. The kind I use today to make rugs, tapestries, kitchen towels, scarves, yoga mats and more. At some point I expect to include some pictures and explanations of the weaving process.
If you'd like to know more about me, I've got a personal bio page started. Hey, even if it were up to date five minutes ago, I'm still alive, so we're both works in progress.
